2024 is the first year of FIRST Tech Challenge Nusantara Regional to be held officially in Indonesia by Indonesia FIRST Robotik. This regional competition were among 150 hundreds of robotics enthusiasts ranging from the 7th grade to 11th grade. In this FIRST Tech Challenge CENTERSTAGESM 2023-2024 season teams from 3 countries including Indonesia, Malaysia, and Kazakhstan competed to be the winner of this regional championship and get a seat at FIRST Tech Challenge World Championship at Houston, Texas, USA

The highest appreciation is extended to the volunteers who have worked tirelessly for days to prepare for this successful event, and also to the judges who have graciously devoted their time to provide insights and thoughts in the evaluation process of the competing robots in this event.

We also express our gratitude to the Mayor of Depok for officially opening this event. Special thanks to Dr. Ilham Habibie, the chairman of WANTIKNAS, who beautifully conveyed the core mission and vision of organizing this event in his address.

Our thanks also go to Dr. Yono Reksoprodjo for providing guidance and insights into the potential of robots in the future and the need to prepare a generation ready for Industry 4.0. 

Additionally, gratitude is extended to Mr. Christopher Feather, Commercial Attaché of the US Embassy, for his willingness to deliver a speech and offer support and hope for the collaboration between FIRST USA and IFR Indonesia.

Of course, appreciation is conveyed to all participants who came to participate from Kazakhstan, Malaysia, and domestically from Bali, Jogja, and Depok.
